Whether you're getting ready for your first Red Raider experience or you're a long time friend, we're excited about having you as our guest at Texas Tech.

We're making our final arrangements to bring you a great workshop experience this summer. From living accommodations and meals to travel directions and Internet access, we're doing our part to make sure you have everything you need to grow as a teacher.

Visting Lubbock

Enjoy the friendly West Texas atmosphere of Lubbock while living and learning on the campus of Texas Tech University.

Travel Directions

Texas Tech University is located in Lubbock on the Llano Estacado, half-way between Dallas and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Driving Directions

Great turn-by-turn directions to Texas Tech are available from any online travel or map site. We like Google Maps.

Air Travel

Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from Texas Tech University, and is serviced by three commercial airlines.

Free shuttle service is available to and from the airport, compliments of Holiday Inn Hotel & Towers. Shuttle service may be arranged by calling the hotel's front desk at 806.763.1200.

Things to Bring

The atmosphere at Texas Tech is a perfect fit with the friendly environment of West Texas.

For an enjoyable stay in Lubbock, feel free to bring comfortable clothing. You may also consider bringing some convenience items.
