About the Instructors

Doug Hamman

Doug Hamman is an assistant professor in the College of Education and the assessment coordinator for the T-STEM Center. A self-proclaimed digital immigrant, Doug enjoys using technology and helping others learn. Students frequently describe the digital learning projects in his courses as the most important learning activity of their college education.

In addition to teaching, Doug likes discovering new ways to mash up technology with classroom learning (he's currently tackling podcasting).

This is Doug's second summer to train teachers with the T-STEM Center.

Robert Waller

Robert Waller is the communication specialist for the T-STEM Center, where he helps spread the word about how Texas Tech is supporting STEM education in Texas.

With a background in computer science and writing, Robert has a passion for finding new ways to use technology and the Internet to communicate, collaborate and create.

This is Robert's second year to train K-12 teachers at Texas Tech.
