Bring GLOBE into your classroom.
Designed to provide international standards for collecting and sharing scientific data, GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) emphasizes the importance of including students in real-world science research and educating them with data collection and analysis skills. With GLOBE, students learn protocols for recording local data at their school and uploading it to a database of scientific readings taken from around the world.
Learn how you can build on the GLOBE protocols and integrate GLOBE into the daily classroom curriculum as you and your students contribute to this worldwide science research project. Incorporate project-based learning that encourages students to take charge of their own learning by seeking solutions to real-world environmental questions.
