T-STEM Center
Supporting STEM education
Keeping students interested in science, technology and mathematics can be tough.
At Texas Tech, we're working on tools to make that job easier for teachers.
What is T-STEM?
T-STEM stands for Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
T-STEM is part of a State of Texas initiative designed to motivate and prepare more students for careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Supporting teachers
The mission of the Texas Tech T-STEM Center is to support educators in STEM disciplines. We're planning to do that by offering services directly to teachers.
- Professional development workshops for teachers
- Classroom resources for Texas schools
- Activities for students
- STEM-focused lesson plans and curricula
